We Believe Training
Deserves Better.
Virtual training became mainstream. But the platforms powering it never evolved for learning.
For years, organisations have been trying to deliver serious live training on tools designed for meetings, forcing trainers and learners to work around technology never built for it.
The result is predictable: passive sessions, disengaged learners, fatigued trainers, fragmented tools and learning outcomes that often fall short.
We believed live training deserved better.
So we built Viliyo.
We Saw the Problem

Viliyo was born from deep, first-hand experience in the learning and training ecosystem.
Having worked closely with trainers and learning teams for years, and having experienced the limitations of virtual delivery ourselves, we kept seeing the same pattern. Highly capable trainers were being forced to compromise.
What should have been immersive learning experiences often became passive sessions constrained by the technology's limitations.
The industry accepted this compromise.
We chose to challenge it.

Our commitment to original thinking has already resulted in two granted patents (Patent Nos. 590837 and 586227), with additional patent applications in progress, particularly in training orchestration and interaction design.
We are embedding AI purpose-built for live learning, providing intelligent assistance, engagement insights, learning summaries, and real-time support to trainers and learners.
But innovation, for us, is never technology for its own sake.
It is about solving real problems in live learning.

Why I Built
For years, I worked closely with trainers, L&D teams and organisations trying to make virtual training effective. I also experienced the challenge first-hand.
What I kept seeing was frustrating. Highly capable trainers trying to create engaging, interactive learning experiences on platforms that were never designed for training.
The industry had accepted this as normal. I couldn’t. I knew this problem needed to be solved.
That belief became Viliyo.
What we are building is bigger than software. It is our attempt to redefine what virtual live learning can become.
